YOUTH ACTION PLAN

Monash Youth and Family Services is throwing a party in the courtyard at Clayton Community Centre, on Cooke Street, to celebrate Council's newly adopted Youth Action Plan on Tuesday 24 November from 4.15 to 5.30pm.

The new Youth Action Plan identifies five priority areas that affect young people and their families and the actions and services that will be implemented to address these priorities.

The launch is open to the public, including a BBQ, refreshments, a Wii competition and an acoustic musical performance by local songstress Shelley Evans. To book in for this event please phone Nick on 9518 3900.

COMMUNITY BUS

Are you unable to use public transport or do not drive a car? Monash Council may be able to assist you with your shopping.

Council's assisted transport service visits selected shopping centres within the municipality. This is a door-to-door service and the driver can assist by taking your shopping to your home. There is a small charge for this service.

Council's fleet of automatic buses are also available for hire at a very low cost for incorporated community, not-for-profit and voluntary groups based in the municipality when not being used by Council services. Interested groups need to have their own driver.

To enquire, phone Meg McCardel on 9518 3247.

NEW MEMBERS SOUGHT
