2006 Golden Plate Awards

For the past four years, the City of Monash has recognised food premises that are leading the trend towards better and safer standards of nutrition, hygiene and supportive environments by acknowledging them with a Golden Plate Award. Retail food outlets that serve food for immediate consumption and exhibit excellence in a number of standards are again being encouraged to apply for an award. There is no fee associated with applying for an award and applications close on Friday 25th August, 2006.

There are many benefits to food businesses for receiving a Golden Plate Award, including well-deserved public recognition and an increased business profile for contributing to the health and wellbeing of the community.

The awards provide a platform to showcase outstanding food premises and enable consumers a way of choosing establishments with a degree of confidence.

For more information regarding the Golden Plate Awards Program and/or for details on how to apply for an award, please contact Monash Council's Health Promotion Officer, Megan Kelly on Ph: 9518 3542
