New Poles For Activity Centres

Permanent new banner poles have been installed at Pinewood, Mount Waverley, Syndal, Clayton and Huntingdale Activity Centres. They were first utilised for display during the recent festive season and will be used to promote other community activities during the year.
Additional poles for other Centres are planned.

Contact Jeff McAlpine on 9518 3454 for further information.

Street Life Projects

The Mount Waverley, Clayton & Oakleigh shopping precincts have been successful in receiving funding under the Victorian Government StreetLife Program.

The StreetLife Program will assist these shopping precincts in branding and promotion of each Centre and to enhance the standard of individual businesses through training programs and workshops.

Mount Waverley will develop a quarterley newsletter and shopping directory for distribution to customers whilst Clayton and Oakleigh are undertaking market research to develop and implement new business development and marketing strategies to strenghten their multicultural niche.

The key business outcomes are expected to be increased customer numbers, improved business turnover, greater retention of businesses and the attraction of good new businesses to each Centre.
