First Economic Development Dinner For 2009

The City of Monash, Economic Development Forum Committee held their first dinner for the year on Wednesday 1 April at the Monash Gallery of Art. Approximately 80 people attended the dinner.

The guest speaker at the dinner was Professor Paul Bonnington, Director of the e-Research Centre at Monash University.

Professor Bonnington outlined the Centre's role, which is to nurture e-Research developments to create an environment that will produce graduates and researchers who master technology and harness the massive volume of information and data generated through business, government and academia – translating this into education, research and workplace outcomes.

The next Economic Development Forum Dinner will be held on Wednesday, 19 August 2009.
