Office Facilities Market In The South East Region
Jones Lang LaSalle recently published a paper showing that the office facility market in the south east region of Melbourne has performed exceptionally well over the past decade.
There are a number of common factors that contribute to the success of office markets that have Monash well placed, access to major roadways, proximity to central business district, make-up of the surrounding workforce and the strength of the existing office market.
Other factors considered important include: the level of car parking, local amenities, strength of surrounding residential market and quality of buildings. In summary, Melbourne’s south east office market is expected to continue its strong overall performance due to many businesses preferring to locate closer to their workforce.

Monash Freeway Interchange Takes Shape
One of the major construction achievements on EastLink has been to divert the city-bound and out-bound Monash Freeway traffic at the EastLink interchange onto three bridges to enable works to be undertaken in the median of the Monash Freeway.
At a cost of approximately $100 million, the Monash Freeway interchange when completed, will feature; nine new bridges, widening of six existing bridges and eight new ramps.
