Monash Business Awards June Luncheon
The Monash Business Awards held their first luncheon for 2007 on Wednesday 13 June at the Mulgrave Country Club.
Guest speaker Gregory Hywood, Chief Executive Tourism Victoria presented on "Tourism Initiatives & Strategies for the South East Region". He provided an overview of the challenges that Victoria’s tourism industry faced and the strategies that will be used to overcome these challenges. Gregory’s informative presentation was well received by those who attended the Business Lunch.
Gloria Mahoney their CEO was presented with a $1,000 cheque at the lunch. Cycle for Kids Charities who raised money for The Starlight Foundation and The Monash Medical Centre Kids Ward also received a cheque of $1,000 at a presentation ceremony held in the Starlight Room at the Monash Medical Centre.
The next Monash Business Awards function will be a luncheon held at the Mulgrave Country Club on Wednesday 19 September.
