2007 Golden Plate Awards

The Golden Plate Award is a program coordinated by Monash Council which publicly recognises and acknowledges food premises throughout the municipality that are leading the trend towards better and safer standards of nutrition, hygiene and supportive environments.

Monash Council is encouraging retail food outlets that exhibit excellence in a number of standards to apply for an award. There is no fee associated with applying for an award and applications close on Friday 24th August 2007.

There are many benefits to businesses for receiving a Golden Plate Award. The first prize for the top food premises is reimbursement of the Food Premises registration fee (max $250). In addition, all recipients of a Golden Plate Award will receive promotional opportunities offered by Monash Council, to increase their business profile.

Golden Plate Awards enable consumers a way of choosing establishments with a degree of confidence.

For more information regarding the Golden Plate Awards Program and/or for details on how to apply for an award, please contact Louise Straughan on Ph. 9518 3573
