Technology Capabilites Alignment Project
Local businesses have been receiving a major technology boost under an initiative that links them with worldclass research facilities such as the Australian Synchrotron, the Centre for Advanced Materials Technology, CSIRO and Monash University.
Led by Monash City Council, the Technology Capabilities Alignment Project (TCAP) has united all three levels of government, advanced technological organisations and small to medium manufacturing businesses in a research project to improve market competitiveness, innovation and capability against international pressures.
A number of projects have already benefited from the TCAP initiative.
The Centre for Advanced Materials Technology provided the data to determine the specific standards for indoor cricket equipment, which will apply to the future manufacture of international cricket balls.
