Access to the facility and classes
Membership (Seniors Card to be eligible- 60+)
A membership allows you to:
- An induction into the Centre
- Consultations with our professional staff to develop programs to help you reach your goals
- Access to the gym and fitness facilities between 9am and 3pm
- Access to our special range of selected group exercise classes (detailed below)
- All pools and spa - Great for loosening stiff joints
- Free special member events and discounts
- A comfortable exercise and social environment

Our range of fun and easy to follow classes have been specifically designed for an older audience to improve strength and fitness to help you get the most out of life.

Class Levels
Aqua
A specialised aquatic class in our warm water exercise pool developed for people over the age of 50 and post rehabilitation mature adults. It combines stretching, low resistance movements and cardiovascular exercises. Discounted hot beverages are available at the Café after each class. Please obtain a token from Reception and present to Café staff in order to redeem your discount.
Pilates
A unique program of exercises that promotes physical and mental balance and awareness. By strengthening the muscles that align our body, pilates can improve posture, muscle tone, co- ordination, circulation and flexibility. It is suitable for rehabilitation and effective for most age groups and physical conditions.
Strong4life

A class designed to improve strength, core stability, flexibility and balance. This class is run in the gym. Read more
Tai Chi
Improves joint flexibility, balance and co-ordination. Calms the nervous system and relieves stress.
A mind and body workout that will leave you feeling rejuvenated. This class uses forms of Hatha Yoga including; postures, stretching, meditation and relaxation, all promoting body balance.

What do I need to know about classes:
- All classes run between 30 - 60 minutes.
- All instructors are fully accredited and qualified.
- We recommend that you bring your own towel and water bottle.
- Appropriate sporting attire/footwear to be worn.
- Please collect a group exercise token from reception and hand to the instructor prior to commencement of the class.
- Mobile phones must be switched off during classes.
- Member and casual lockers are available to store personal belongings - enquire at reception.
- Minimum age is 16 years for participation in classes.
- Classes are reduced on public holidays. Please see reception for public holiday class details.
It is recommend that participants gain a medical clearance from their doctor before participating in any physical activity. Persons undertaking classes do so at their own risk.
