Community Halls
Monash Council operates 18 halls for use by the community. Further non-Council facilities - Guide and Scout Halls, Sporting Clubs, School Halls, Church Halls - are available for booking within the municipality and are subject to direct negotiation with the nominated facility manager.

Neighbourhood Houses
Houses are community managed and non-profit, making the cost of classes and child care very reasonable. Houses rely on community input in the way of suggestions, comments and volunteers to assist in their operations.

Neighbourhood Houses vary in what classes, services and activities they provide as they reflect their local community.
