PRIDE OF MONASH - 2011 Sir John Monash Community Awards

The Sir John Monash Community Awards recognise special service to the City of Monash, or for service to a particular locality or field of activity, or to a particular group within the community.

The three categories of the award are:
  • Community Leadership Award;
  • Volunteer of the Year Award; and
  • Young Volunteer Award.
Any person performing voluntary duties or providing a leadership role on a voluntary basis within the City of Monash may be nominated for an award by any individual, community organisation, professional body or similar group.

Monash Volunteer Resource Centre

MVRC is a not-for -profit organization that provides an extensive volunteer referral service and programs for the aged, people with disabilities, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
