Local Laws

Council's Local Laws control the social and physical amenities of the City for the benefit of residents and to minimise activities which may cause annoyance to others.

Footpath Trading and Access Policy
The objective of this policy is to provide safe and unencumbered pedestrian access on footpaths in Glen Waverley, Oakleigh, Mt Waverley, Pinewood, Clayton and other Activity Centres.
Provisions of Local Law No 3
Abandoned Vehicles, Overhanging Vegetation, Fire Hazard, Noxious Weeds, Signs and Goods on Footway, Incinerator/Open Air Burning, Municipal Amenity, Street Performing/Busking, Billboard Advertising, Tin Shake Appeals, School Crossings
