MT WAVERLEY WARD
As a dedicated family man, Ryan knows the importance of a strong community. Passionate about providing a high level of support to all residents throughout the Monash community, Ryan studied a Bachelor of Arts (BA) majoring in sociology at Latrobe University while learning about building stronger communities and volunteering for worthy organisations such as the Leukaemia Foundation, Kids Help Line, and World Vision.
Since University, Ryan has helped numerous non-profit organisations and community groups focus on building stronger links between themselves and their local business sectors to raise awareness and to assist with fundraising ventures.
For recreation Ryan likes to be active in a broad range of sports, including skiing, football, cricket, golf and tennis. In addition to his ambition of Monash being Melbourne's most liveable community, Ryan would like to compete in the MasterCard Golf Championships and see his AFL team become premier once again.
