Cr Stephen DIMOPOULOS
OAKLEIGH WARD
Stephen Dimopoulos is one of the representatives of the Oakleigh Ward. He has been involved in community organisations, including the Migrant Resource Centre and the Southern Ethnic Advice and Advocacy Council for a number of years.
He owned a café in Oakleigh for a number of years and is now working as a policy adviser in multicultural affairs for the Victorian Government.
After serving a term as Mayor in 2004-5, he says: "I stood for Council again because I have a passion for civic engagement and for playing a leadership role in our local community."
