Pasta Piselli
Ingredients:
- 500g Small pasta shells
- 1 Onion, chopped finely
- 2 Pork spare ribs
- 500g Frozen baby peas
- 1 Tin peeled tomatoes
- Handful of bay leaves
- Salt & Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan, add the pork spare ribs and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add the finely chopped onions and fry until the onions are golden brown.
- Add the frozen peas, this will create a small amount of liquid (if not add a small amount of water). Let the peas and liquid boil for a couple of minutes until the water reduces. Add the peeled tomatoes. Cook slowly.
- Add a handful of bay leaves, stir. Season with salt and pepper and a little bit of chilli if desired.
- Cook gently for 40minutes.
- Meanwhile cook the pasta according to packet instructions. When the sauce and the pasta are ready mix well in the same saucepan.
- Serve immediately with parmesan cheese and crusty bread.
