Pastie with 2 different fillings
Ingredients:
Dough
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Oil
- 2 cups Plain flour
- 2 pkts Yeast
- 5 Eggs
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 2 Cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 500g Mince meat
- Parsley
- Tomato Puree
Fry all ingredients together in a pan. When cooked sprinkle some plain flour over the mixture to thicken it up.
Cheese Filling- 250g Fetta Cheese
- 250g Ricotta Cheese
Mix together.
Preparation:
- Dough - Put all ingredients in a bowl, mix well.
- Roll the dough onto the bench top and cut into squares.
- Place some of the mince or cheese mixture into the middle of the square and roll the pastry up.
- Whisk an egg and then glaze the tops of the pastry with the egg.
- Cook in a moderate oven for 20-30min or until golden brown.
