Work experience
The City of Monash offers work experience and work placements for students in a dynamic local government environment.
Our program helps students meet their education requirements, develop and enhance their skills and knowledge while being exposed to a real working environment.
The City of Monash generally will except work experience students in the following departments:- Administration
- Building
- Engineering
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Library
- Recreation
- Communications
Application for Work Experience for the 2011-2012 financial year can be sent to jobs@monash.vic.gov.au
Please include a cover letter explaining what area you would like to work and the dates of your schools work experience program along with a copy of your resume. We will then contact that area to see if they have the capacity to accommodate your request.
PLEASE NOTE: the only work experience offered is through a registered school, TAFE or University Program.
