About Monash Arts and Cultural Development

Monash Arts and Cultural Development Unit exists to develop, support and promote community based arts and cultural activities within the City of Monash, on behalf of Monash Council.

Monash Arts and Cultural Development Unit delivers a variety of arts services and events to the Monash Community, including Community Arts Funding, Concerts and Programs.

Monash Arts and Cultural Development Unit objectives include the celebration of the cultural diversity of the community, encourage artistic expression and provide opportunities for both individuals and groups to participate in activities that enhance their understanding and appreciation of arts and culture.

In doing so the Arts and Cultural Development Unit aims to facilitate a sense of community belonging and vitality that builds on cultural diversity and strengthens local communities.
