VIRGINA MAYWALD
Ceramic designer Virginia Maywald will share her experiences of working firstly from her laundry, begging for free studio space and eventually moving to a factory in North Fitzroy from where she exported her tableware to hotels and all over the world.
She will share the highs, the lows and the reality of making a living out of doing what she loved and how the world found out!
Topics to be discussed will include:- Most good promotion is absolutely free.
- Advertising on an artists budget.
- How to tell the world about what you do.
- Finding your market.
- Accessing the media and writing press release.
