Swim and Fun Run Event 2007
On Saturday 17 November MARC held its annual community Swimming and Running event. Over 70 competitors came to enjoy in either the 500m/1000m swim or the 5km run. All age groups and abilities were representeted from school kids to older adults.
The MARC Swim School was very well represented with swimming teachers Jarryd Elliot coming second in the 1000m swim and Josh Schmidt winning the 5km run. The Tateswim squads also represented the MARC Centre well with 1st place in the Female Junior 500m and 2nd in the Male Junior 500m swims.
Thank you to everyone who competed. We look forward to seeing you back in action improving on your performances from this year.
