School Holiday Fun at MARC
As it starts to heat up over the school holidays why not head down to MARC for some summer fun with the Inflatable and Big Waves sessions. Also don't miss out with our Big Wave session special, hire four body boards and get one free. (Conditions apply - valid until 31 January, one stamp per visit). See reception when you hire your board.
For the up and coming swimmers in Monash, our Learn to Swim Express Program will be commencing on 2 January. Places are limited so give us a call.
Another program starting in 2007 is the Bronze Rescue Star with Life Saving Victoria. Learn aquatic survival, rescue techniques, fitness and more with our qualified instructors. See reception for further details and to register.

School Holiday Programs
It's almost the end of the year and time to enjoy school holidays! Join us with Council's School Holiday Program for primary school children held from 8 - 25 January.
These holidays we'll be enjoying the warmer weather with some outdoor fun and visit the Collingwood Children's farm and Toolangi State Forest, also learn and make all sorts of cool things over the two weeks.
Bookings open at Monash Youth and Family Services and are made by mail only. Enrolment brochures are available at most local schools, all Council libraries and offices.

Holiday Fun at your library
Join our summer reading fun for primary kids by signing up for the Read AROUND OZ Summer Reading Club. Sign up at any Monash Library branch, collect your Reading Record and start reading over the holidays. Read 10 books, appropriate to your reading level, complete the entry form and go into the draw to win some great prizes. The more you read, the more chances you have to win.
Come down to your local library to join in for preschool story time (also in Chinese and Greek), plus toddler time, various stories and craft sessions and performances with Rudy the One-Man Band and Australian animal adventure. Programs for the Library Summer Fun will be available soon from Monash Library branches or www.monlib.vic.gov.au
