Oakleigh Carols

Warrawee Park will be alive with Christmas carols and cheer on Friday, December 7 for the Oakleigh Carols in the Park.

Supported by Monash City Council, the Oakleigh Carols will be led by performers from eleven local churches, community groups and schools and will start at 7pm, concluding at 9.30pm.

Be Waste Wise At Carols

Monash Residents are reminded to be Waste Wise at this year's Carols by Candlelight celebrations by using the rubbish and recycling bins provided at the event.

Jells Park is abundant with native plants and is a welcome haven for wildlife, especially birds, in an urban environment.

To look after this precious parkland, Parks Victoria has a 'carry in, carry out' policy for rubbish. To assist Council to 'carry out' the waste from Carols by Candlelight and to protect our environment, we are asking all residents to please use the rubbish and recycling bins provided at Jells Park for the Carols event.

If you cannot locate a bin during the event, please ask one of our staff members for assistance or take your rubbish home with you.
