Animal Registration, Immunisation Sessions
Residents will soon receive an animal registration reminder in the letterbox from the RSPCA on behalf of Council. If you fail to register your cat or dog with Council you could face a fine of $215. By being registered and wearing a registration tag, your dog or cat can quickly be returned to you if they become lost.
A reduced fee of $29 applies to cats and dogs that are desexed, are over 10 years old, and are permanently identified with a microchip.
A 50% pensioner rebate also applies (concession rate $43.50, reduced rate $14.50).
For further information, go to Dogs and Cats - controls, registration or phone 9518 3445.
