Glen Waverley Food, Wine and Music Festival
Get ready to dine, drink and dance in the streets at the inaugural Glen Waverley Food, Wine & Music Festival on Sunday 15 November.
"This is a great opportunity for Monash retail traders, restaurants and artisans to show off their wares at this delicious new festival," said Cr Geoff Lake.
"The Glen Waverley Shopping Precinct is home to an eclectic and diverse array of businesses, eateries, fine dining and family activities and is perfectly positioned to host this new festival."
Council has approved $80,000 worth of funding to support the Event Organising Committee. The Event Organising Committee is intending to match Council's cash component of $60,000 through sponsorship, admission charges and local business donations.
