Damage from the 2 April Storm

In the first 24 hours following the gale force winds on 2 April, Monash City Council has received around 250 calls from residents reporting damage.
Many of these reports relate to tree debris and some residents have also reported damage to cars, fences, letterboxes and homes from falling tree limbs. Some Council buildings have sustained minor damage to roofs in the high winds.
A full assessment of damage will become evident in the coming weeks.
Council has deployed crews to clear tree debris and any resident wishing to report debris for collection can phone 9518 3409 during business hours.
