Notice of Intention to Sell Land
Monash City Council ("Council") gives notice under Section 189 of the Local Government Act,1989 ("the Act") that it has resolved to subdivide and sell its land at 7 Lesay Court, Mount Waverley and described below ("the proposal").
The proposal is that the land be sold either by way of public auction or private treaty upon the following terms and conditions:
- A Planning Permit being issued for the removal of the reservation and subdivision;
- Registration of a Plan pursuant to S. 24A of the Subdivision Act, 1989;
- Payment of a deposit of 10% of the purchase price on exchange of Contracts;
- Settlement 14 days after the Vendor or its solicitors notifying the Purchaser or its solicitors of registration of the Section 24A Plan;
A person may make a submission on the proposals. Any person proposing to make a submission under section 223 of the Act must do so until 24 September 2007.
All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.
Submissions should be addressed (Reference: PROP240) to the Chief Executive Officer and can be hand delivered to Council's Office at 293 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley or posted to: David Conran, Chief Executive Officer, City of Monash, PO Box 1, Glen Waverley 3150.
Any person requesting to be heard in support of his or her submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or a Committee established by Council for this purpose) or be represented by a person acting on his or her behalf, and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.
