Payment of 2nd Instalment - Due Wednesday 30 November 2005
Ratepayers are reminded that the due date for the Second Instalment payment of Rates for 2005/2006 is 30 November 2005.
Instalment reminder notices were issued for this Second Instalment on 20 October 2005.
Please ensure that your payment is received by Council on or before 30 November 2005, as interest at the rate of 11.50% per annum, will be charged on any outstanding balance after this date.
The Local Government Act 1989 requires Council to charge the interest from the due date of the overdue instalment until the payment is made.
For your convenience, Council offers a number of alternative methods to enable payment such as: - Australia Post, Banks, Bpay,
Council's web site, at Council Service Centres or by mail; please refer to the back of your rates notice for details.
