Payment of Fourth Instalment
Due Thursday 31 May 2007
For those ratepayers who have elected to pay their 2006/07 rates by four (4) instalments, we remind you that the due date for the Fourth Instalment payment of Rates for 2006/07 is 31 May 2007.
Instalment reminder notices were issued for this Fourth Instalment on 20 April 2006. If you have not received a notice please contact the Rates Office on 9518 3497.
Please ensure that Council receives your payment on or before 31 May 2007, as interest at the rate of 11.00% per annum, will be charged on any outstanding balance after this date.
The Local Government Act 1989 requires Council to charge the interest from the due date of the overdue instalment until the payment is made.
For your convenience, Council offers a number of alternative methods to enable payment such as: Australia Post, Local Newsagencies (Displaying Bill Express Logo), Bpay, Payments Online, also at Council Service Centres or by mail. Please refer to the back of your rates notice for details.
