Monash Planning Scheme - Notice of Amendment C71

The City of Monash has prepared Amendment C71 to the Monash Planning Scheme.
All land at 129-133 Atkinson Streeet and 2-6 Palmerston Grove, Oakleigh.
The Amendment proposes to rezone the land from R1Z - Residential 1 and B1Z - Business 1 to PUZ6 - Public Use (Local Government).
The purpose of the Amendment is to enable the land to be redeveloped for use as public car park.
The City of Monash has recently purchased the land at 129 Atkinson Street for inclusion into a redevelopment of the existing car park between Atkinson Street and Palmerston Grove. Redevelopment is to include the construction of a multi-deck car park providing a total of 271 car spaces in association with the Oakleigh Parking Precinct Plan proposed in Amendment C60, exhibited at the same time as this amendment.
