Oakleigh Uniting Church presents Carols in the Park 2009

'Oakleigh Carols in the Park' is a community event involving local primary schools, multicultural groups. Organised by the churches of Oakleigh and supported by Monash City Council, all are welcome to enjoy this family-friendly community celebration.

The Mt Waverley Chamber of Commerce & Industry presents Mt Waverley Carols

Mt Waverley's ever popular Carols event will be bigger and better than ever! The 2009 program will features ARIA Award winner Anthony Callea and well known Australian artist Silvie Paladino. Hosted by Patti Newton. Douglas Heywood OAM will lead the Camberwell Chorale and orchestra, and will present all the favourites!

Thousands come from near and far and celebrate this free Christmas event, where there is fun for the whole family.

City of Monash presents Monash Carols by Candlelight 2009

The magic of Christmas is captured under the stars each December at Jells Park, where the community comes together to enjoy the Monash Carols By Candlelight Concert. The Monash Carols by Candlelight consistently attracts an average of 20,000 people from the City of Monash and surrounding areas. Hosted by well-known TV and radio personality, Pete Smith and featuring talented local performers and musicians.

2010 Australia Day Flag Raising Ceremony

Celebrate Australia Day at the City of Monash with an official flag raising ceremony. Entertainment and brunch to follow formalities.

2010 Clayton Community Festival

Clayton comes alive with this major street festival, celebrating community life and cultural diversity within Monash through live performances, vibrant youth area, interactive workshops, delicious foods and arts and crafts.

2010 Glen Waverley Chinese New Year & Lantern Festival

This festival adds to the celebrations and festivals that happen across the year at the City of Monash. The Lantern Festival is part of many celebrations held over the 15 day's of the Chinese New Year. The Chinese Events and Organising Committee have shown great strength and commitment in coordinating this festival and presenting an engaging and diverse program of events.
