Dogg's Hamlet, Cahoot's Macbeth explores the relationship between language and power, and the ways in which that power can be undermined through performance.

The Showband is an energetic twenty-five piece group fronted by a dynamic team of vocalists. In uniform, police members deliver powerful performances of songs from the 1940's Big Band Era, to current Top 40 popular hits.

The Mount View Art Show has built a reputation for exhibiting art works by many of Australia’s leading artists as well as works from highly regarded local artists. More than 400 works in oils, water colour, pastel and other media will be on display and for sale.
The Opening Night will be a cocktail party, held at 7pm, Thursday, 14 June ($15.00 per person, includes nibbles, drinks and entertainment).
General entry over the show weekend is $6.00 per person (pensioners/students $4), including catalogue.

Waverley Music Eisteddfod Entries Now Open
Calling all aspiring musicians. The 34th Annual Waverley Music Eisteddfod is now taking entries. Sections include Piano, Strings, Wind/Brass, Recorder, Vocal, Choral, Ensemble and Chamber Music.

Waverley Music Eisteddfod is a Not For Profit event supported by the City of Monash, Arts Victoria and Monash University Acadamy of Performing Arts.
The competition is held from 18 to 27 August 2012 at Huntingtower Performing Arts Centre and Robert Blackwood Hall.

Golden Memories - 50 Years of Song
Treble Tones presents its 50th Anniversary Concert at Burwood Uniting Church, Corner Hyslop St and Warrigal Rd, Glen Iris at 2pm, Saturday 26 May.
The program will include a selection of the choir's - and audiences' - favourite melodies.
Guest artists - Linda O'Brien (piano), Edward Pople (violin) and Jessica La Mari (soprano).
Treble Tones has always reached out to its varied audiences to include something for everybody in its program. This concert program is no exception.

Model Expo 2012
Model Expo 2012 is a showcase of everything that encompasses scale modelling and covers nearly all categories including Figures, Science-Fiction, Cars, Aircraft, Trucks and AFVs. Junior and intermediate modellers are also catered for with their own competition categories.
Waverley Scale Modellers Club is one of those involved in the running of (not for profit) Expo.
WSMC puts together a display at each Expo and will share our enthusiasm for the hobby with you. Come and see it and us.
