"Time of My Life" - Peridot Theatre

For its first production for 2010, Mt. Waverley's Peridot Theatre is presenting "Time of My Life" by Alan Ayckbourn.

In this clever and stylish comedy Gerry Stratton, with his sons Glyn and Adam, arranges a 54th birthday celebration for his wife Laura at her favourite restaurant. Glyn brings his wife Stephanie along and Adam his new girlfriend Maureen, but as the evening progresses, family skeletons emerge. Set in the past, present and future, this is another delicious comedy from a master playwright.

Peridot performs at the Unicorn Theatre, Lechte Road, Mt. Waverley.

The season will run from February 5-20 at 8.15pm with Matinees on Sunday 7 and Saturday 13 at 2.15pm.

Hughesdale Art Group

Hughesdale Art Group is a small community based group of friends who share the same passion – ART!

Members meet every Friday from 10.00am to 3.00pm for informal painting sessions at the Hughesdale Community Centre, cnr. Poath & Kangaroo Roads, Hughesdale. If you are looking for something a little more structured, artist Ivan Dinsdale tutors painters in their preferred medium, at the Hughesdale Community Centre, also each Friday from 10.00am to 12.00pm.

During the year, Hughesdale Art Group holds a number of special events, available to members and the wider public. Another exciting project this year was the beginning of our very own website, which can be found at: http://mc2.vicnet.net.au/home/hagroup/web/index.html
