Open Doors Day
On Tuesday 22 May from 10am to 3pm, Brine Street Kindergarten is hosting an Open Doors Day for families interested in learning more about the kindergarten.
Tours of the centre will take place every hour on the hour from 10am to 3pm. To register your interest, please e-mail brinest@monash.vic.gov.au or telephone the Acting Coordinator, Lorrelle Orrman, on 9579 0903.
Brine Street Child Care and Kindergarten is located at 33 Brine Street Hughesdale.
Kindergarten enrolment forms will be available at the centre and can be accessed at: Brine Street Child Care Centre.
Join Soft Knits
We seek people who enjoy knitting. Soft Knits knits and makes soft toys for children. Pullovers, hats, mittens, booties and toys are given to children whose parents have few things or are refugees.
Simple things are knitted. It is getting cold. Cosy knitted clothes warm the heart as well as keep little bodies warm.
Beginners and experienced knitters are welcome. Yarn and patterns are available. Your own are fine too.
Your call is welcome.
Soft Knits is open from April through to September and hibernates in between.

Essex Heights Playgroup
Essex Heights Playgroup is a clean, tidy and cosy play space for kids and mums to get together. This would suit already established mothers groups looking for a convenient place to meet for a couple of hours.
Two-hour session times are available on any weekday at 15 Outlook Road, Mt Waverley.
