The Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave is back 12-15 March and we’re asking you to take part! Just sign up, decide to shave or colour, then ask family and friends to sponsor you – it’s an easy way to have fun for a serious cause.
Every day, 31 Australians will be diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma. The money you raise will continue the search for cures and fund free emotional and practical support, like accommodation for regional families who need to move closer to treatment.
The Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave began in 1998 and today, is one of Australia's biggest fundraising events!
More than 150,000 people from all walks of life will shave or colour their hair in 2015. Some will go it alone while others will get a team together. Many schools will hold a ‘Funky Hair Day’ and there will be other exciting challenges such as the Tradie challenge.
Some will organise a private event at home or work while others head to a public event. These will be listed on www.worldsgreatestshave.com closer to the time.
So be brave and shave, visit the website or call 1800 500 088 to find out more.
Five years ago Waverley Industries began its hospitality and catering business; the business has been growing successfully and has developed a solid reputation in the market place as offering quality food at competitive prices. The catering service employs 4 chefs and 6 employees with disabilities under 5 star Chef Mr Eric Roulston.
The company's vision is to expand its catering business to create further employment opportunities for people with disabilities in our community.
As well as offering a delivery service, our new dining facility at Notting Hill is an ideal place for meetings, conferences and social occasions for 25 to 80 people for corporate and community groups. The facility will offer a gourmet dining experience with buffet and cocktail options. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available.
For all catering enquiries including Christmas bookings contact Eric Roulston or Rachael Embleton.
