Council Plan 2006 - 2010 (2007 Update)
Following the election of a new Council in November 2005, a planning review and consultation with key stakeholders, including the community, was undertaken. The result was the Council Plan 2006 - 2010, which continues to build on Monash 2012. Following this extensive review, and in accordance with the Local Government Act, an annual review was undertaken in early 2007 to ensure that the 4-year Council Plan remains current.
The Council Plan 2006 - 2010 (2007 Update) identifies the strategic objectives of the Council, strategies for achieving those objectives for the remainder of Council's term, strategic indicators for monitoring the achievement of the objectives and a Strategic Resource Plan detailing the resources required to achieve the objectives. It provides a focus and a framework for implementation of the strategic direction through definition of Council's vision, values, community consultation framework and service management principles.
