Flavours of Monash

Flavours of Monash aims to bring residents and communities together through the story telling of settlement in Australia and sharing of traditional food recipes.

Flavours of Monash celebrates the City's cultural diversity and raises awareness of the value that new arrivals and our established multicultural communities contribute to the Monash community. Settlement stories and traditional food recipes, including photographs of participants and food are collated on the Monash Council website making the information accessible to the wider Monash community.

Council hosted a Flavours of Monash demonstration tent at the Oakleigh Festival, with the assistance of local multicultural groups, to showcase the variety of recipes on the Flavours of Monash website.
