Objective: To strengthen organisational capacity within Council

Implement the Indigenous Action Plan 2007 – 2011	Action Plan reviewed on an annual basis	May annually	Community Planning & Development
Ensure that the City of Monash staff have the necessary Indigenous information readily available to them via internal communication mechanisms	Ensure that Indigenous information pertaining to the City of Monash is readily accessible to all staff by placing documentation on the Intranet This would include: Demographics Indigenous history of the City of Monash Contact details of key stakeholders, agencies and organisations	March 2008	Community Planning & Development
Support regional and statewide Indigenous networks and forums	Participate in regional and statewide Indigenous networks Participate in regional forums, where appropriate	Ongoing	Community Planning & Development
