Oakleigh Recreation Centre features a four-court indoor sports stadium that hosts many local, regional and state sporting events.

Construction is well underway on the $9.21 million redevelopment of the Oakleigh Aquatic & Recreation Centre in Park Road Oakleigh. Centre administration staff have been relocated to the newly built temporary admin area in the old program room.
The new thermal pool is beginning to take shape and works are underway on the renovation of the 50m pool and dive pool. The new entry promenade is taking shape and plumbing and electrical works have been roughed in.
The hot, and in some instances wet weather together with some other building related issues have caused some delays and subsequent extensions to the works but it is still anticipated that the pools will be open during the summer season of 2009/2010.
