Recreation Centre Update

Opportunities for off-season and in-season training in alternative sports or venues are proving effective training methods for local associations and clubs across Victoria. Why not start thinking about where, when, how your club could better make use of the resources available and provide your club members with in-season and off-season programs.

Outdoor Pool Summer Operating Hours
From Monday 8 October, the operating hours for the 50 metre heated outdoor pool are as follows:

Mon to Fri: 6:00am open to 8:00pm close
Sat & Sun: 8:00am open to 6:00pm close
Pub. Hol: 9:00am open to 5:00pm close

Oakleigh Recreation Centre

Monash City Council took over the direct management of the Oakleigh Recreation Centre on 1 November 2007 with the aim of providing an improved service and facility. A large range of new equipment is now available at the gym and a new exercise classes program is operating. New members are most welcome. The indoor stadium is operating as normal and crèche facilities are available.

Clayton Community Centre Update

The Clayton Community Centre is poised for opening this year. With an extensive range of programs and services available the centre is set to bring Clayton together – Gym & Fitness Facilities, Group Exercise, Swim School, Lessons, Swim Teachers, 25m Indoor Heated Pool, Heated Indoor Play Pools, Spa, Merchandise, Child Care, Café, Library, Theatrette, Pre-school, Occasional Care, Youth & Family Services, Maternal & Child Care Services, Meeting Rooms and MonashLink Community Health Services.
