MONASH SPORTSCENEWater Restrictions Update
Training Guidelines Updated
June - August 2009
After a review of the existing training guidelines, the condition of the ground surfaces, the weather, and the continuation of the Stage 3a Water Restrictions, Council has approved the following amendments to training guidelines for training from June to August 2009.- Training is only allowed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for the Winter season, or until notified otherwise.
- Training on Mondays is not permitted.
- Teams are permitted to train more than one (1) session per week.
- An updated training plan must be submitted to Council for written approval prior to amended training can commence.
It is now even more important than ever for Clubs to carefully and responsibly manage ground usage. Clubs should not assume that the ground can cope with the same training intensity as previous seasons. Careful consideration of your training activities prior to each session will enable you to assess the immediate impact on the ground, particularly if conditions are very wet.
All clubs have been sent a copy of updated training guidelines and an updated training plan form. To access the guidelines and updated training form please contact Recreation Services on 9518 3583 or visit Training Guidelines.
