MONASH SPORTSCENE

Winter & Yearly Sports Club User Survey Results

At the end of each season, a survey is sent to Club Secretaries to evaluate the service that the City of Monash provides, namely Club administration, sports field maintenance, pavilion maintenance and waste management. Response rates continue to be disappointing, with 18 of 52 Clubs (35%) returning the survey. The survey provides an excellent opportunity for Clubs to provide feedback to Council on service delivery.

In 2008 there was a marked increase in positive ratings across the majority of questions, and included:
Council Performance

In 2008 Council performance has increased significantly across all four areas of field maintenance, pavilion maintenance, waste management and administration. From an average of 6 out of 10 in 2007, to 8.5 out of 10 in 2008. Both field and pavilion maintenance received their highest rating since the start of the surveys in 1999, and administration its second highest.

Council Response Time

Response time to field maintenance, pavilion maintenance and other enquiries was rated Good to Excellent, a significant increase from 2007.
