Wishbone Foundation
The Wishbone Foundation is a newly created not-for-profit specialising in the provision of pet care to people who are elderly, chronically ill or disabled. Created in 2001, the foundation provides services such as health care, walking, training, grooming, and respite care with the support of sponsors and volunteers.
Current Australian research shows that the need for medical treatment and consultation is greatly reduced through pet ownership, and as such, our ultimate aim is to keep pets and owners together.
Wishbone also provides everyday Australians with the chance to show they care, and to make a difference in the live of the pets and their owners by becoming a volunteer.
