Asbestos
What is asbestos?Asbestos is the name given to a group of fibrous silicate minerals that occur naturally in the environment. Asbestos fibres are typically found in building products used in Australia from the1950's to the 1990's and in some car parts.
With many Australians now tackling do-it-yourself home projects, more people are becoming exposed to the dangers of asbestos.
