Dads at Home (D.A.H)

The importance of simple routines and rules becomes much more apparent when you have children as I recently found out.
I was out in the garden working one day and I went inside hastily for some reason. All very innocent I thought, but realise also that my 18 month old son simply loves eating sultanas. Little did I know that my shoes at the time were dirty and I left tiny "sultana like" blobs of dirt on the carpet. My son as you would guess began to eat some and then spit them out in disgust.
Wondah (sic)
(This comes from a Mum who passed this on to Peter Burke) After many nights of training my daughter to stay in bed and sleep at night without coming in and disturbing our sleep, never did I expect the bonus involved.
Her younger brother awoke at 5 am one morning and she came into our bedroom, tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Don't worry Mum I've put his dummy in and told him its night time and we don't wake up at night time".
How wonderful it is when the student becomes the teacher!
