Inclusion support
Inclusion Support Agencies (ISA) employ and manage a network of specialist workers, known as Inclusion Support Facilitators, to work directly with eligible child care services. These facilitators help child care services to build their skills and capacity to include children with additional needs.

Eligible Child Care Services
Eligible child care services are:- Australian Government Approved child care services, including both private and community centre based Long Day Care
- Outside School Hours Care including vacation care
- Family Day Care
- Occasional Care
- In-Home Care.
Inclusion Support Facilitators are predominantly specialists in inclusive support practice and modeling. They work directly with child care services to support staff in a variety of ways, such as linking services with other child care professionals, community groups and organisations; facilitating skills development; helping services to access specialised equipment; and helping with inclusion readiness planning and developing service support plans.
ISAs focus on the following priority groups:
- Children from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Children with ongoing high support needs including children with a disability
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
