Youth Issues

Abuse

Abuse within the home, relationship or schoolyard can take many forms. Abuse is NOT confined to physical or sexual acts of violence but can also include threats and intimidation, verbal/emotional abuse, enforced social control by another person and economic deprivation (forced dependence on another person for money and survival).

If you are being abused, it is not your fault. If you or someone you know is being abused you should contact the police. For further information check out the following web sites or call the numbers listed below.
