Monash Access and Inclusion Network

 Disability Access and Inclusion Framework and Action Plan 2007 – 2008

Monash Access & Inclusion Network aims to actively increase the opportunities for people with disabilities, carers, families, workers, and interested others to share information, improve & promote community inclusive opportunities, identify gaps, advocate for change and work in partnership to overcome current issues affecting people living with disabilities and their carers in the Monash municipality.

Aims and Objectives
  • Develop an understanding of the services provided within the City of Monash.
  • Provide opportunities for individuals and services to develop links between each other.
  • Promote partnership opportunities between services.
  • Identify common issues and support local solutions.
  • Provide & develop consultative opportunities to deliver information across a wide range of service users & providers.
  • Provide a vehicle to deliver information across a wide range of service users and providers.

This network meets bi-monthly on the second Monday of the month at Monash Civic Centre, Glen Waverley.

 This network is also online on the My Connected Communities website.

 There are two ways to join:
  1. Log onto mc2 register and then follow the directions on how to join a community.
