Positive Ageing Lifestyle Program - Winter 2008
Winter Warmings
June, July, August 2008Welcome to the 2008 Older Adults 'Winter Warmings' Positive Ageing Life Style Program.
You may have noticed that the name "ROAR" has been dropped and is now the "Positive Ageing Life Style Program" or PALS Program. The program is now more than just a recreation activity program.
The goals of the Positive Ageing Life Style Program, PALS are to promoting healthy; active ageing and promoting independence.
You will see this in the program when you come across the public transport - staff assisted day trips, Wiser Driver Course, guest presenters and ex ercise classes. There are still however many of our regular type of activities that you can continue to enjoy.
BOOKINGS – To minimise frustration and phone calls there is one booking date per month. So with one phone call you can now book into any activities you wish to participate in for that month.
Take care, and see you soon.

Autumn Reflections
Autumn Review
What a wonderful Autumn program.
From almost 150 of us coming together to enjoy the film 'The Bucket List', to 50 of us braving the weather at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden show.
It's always uplifting and positive to see you out and about enjoying time socialising together and being active.
And Aqua at Clayton was a great day as we came together for a tour of the new centre and of course a free swim.
