Seniors Week Festival Tea Dance
The City of Monash 2008 Seniors Week Festival was a very successful program full of numerous activities and opportunities for you to get involved.
The Festival Tea Dance was a gem of a day with plenty of dancing, music and laughter.
Positive Ageing Expo
The Positive Ageing Expo was once again a great event. There were 41 information stalls, 3 hours of entertainment, plenty of free food provided by Monash Meals, lovely fresh home made scones from the Wellington Trefoild Guild and free give-a-ways from many of the stall
holders.
It is estimated that close to 500 people attended the Positive Ageing Expo at some point throughout the 4 hour duration.
Thank you to the Older Persons Reference Group members who volunteered their time to help make this event such a success.
