Senior Citzens Awards for Community Service for 2008
Four members of the Older Persons Reference Group were nominated by Monash Council to attend the presentation at Government House of the Premier's Senior Citzens Awards for Community Service for 2008. This was attended from people all over Victoria.
It was a well organised function in a beautiful setting followed by morning tea in Government House gardens with fabulous food and good music.
It was made complete by the Governor's wife Mrs De Kretser posing for a photo with the four members. A perfect ending to a perfect morning on a sunny day in Melbourne.
