- Quote the Biller Code (1826) and Customer Reference Number shown on the front of your rate notice.

Payment by telephone credit card with Australia Post
- Call 131 816, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
- The Biller Code is 0547.
- You will need the reference number shown on the front of your rate notice, the amount you wish to pay and your credit card details.
- Cards accepted: Bankcard, Visa, Mastercard and AMEX credit cards.
- Charge cards such as Diners Club are not accepted.

Please present the complete notice with your payment at any Australia Post outlet.

Present the complete notice with your payment to the cashier at either the:- Civic Centre

Council no longer allows payments to be made at any Bank.

- You can use the rate notice reusable envelope to forward your payment.
- Mail your payment with the deposit slip and keep the top part of the notice for your record.
- Note: this is a Locked Box service and payments are processed by Council's Bank, therefore receipts cannot be issued.
Privacy Statement
The personal information contained in your notice is collected and held by Monash City Council in the exercise of its powers and functions under legislation (including the Local Government Act 1989) in order to achieve its purposes as provided in the legislation.
The personal information will not be used by Council unless it is necessary for one of its powers or functions. Your personal information will only be disclosed outside Council with your consent, or where required or permitted by law. For instance, we may disclose your personal information to our contractors, credit providers or professional advisers to assist Council to perform its powers and functions.
We may also pass on your personal information to other government and regulatory authorities and agencies, but only where these bodies require the information to perform their legislative powers and functions.
You have a right to access your personal information, subject to some exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know.
